Effective with the release of Crumb version 2.5.0.

What's new in this version

A short summary of what changed in this revision. It's for convenience only — the full terms below are what govern:

Sections 1.1 (Eligibility and Age Ratings) and 8.4 (Age Assurance), introduced June 25, 2026, are unchanged.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Crumb: Sourdough Tracker mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions outlined below, you must not download or use the App.

Crumb is a sourdough starter and bake tracking application developed by Creative Adventures Lab. The App offers free access with usage limits and optional paid plans called "Crumb+" — available as a weekly subscription, monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase.

On the Apple App Store, the App is listed as "Sourdough Tracker: Starter Log" (subtitle: "Crumb: Bread & Bake Recipes"). On Google Play, it is listed as "Sourdough Starter Tracker Log". These store listings refer to the same application, called "Crumb" or "the App" throughout this document.

1.1 Eligibility and Age Ratings

The App is assigned an age rating by the Apple App Store and Google Play. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree that you are respecting those age ratings and any minimum-age requirements that apply in your jurisdiction. You — and, where you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian — are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with them. If you are under the minimum age required to hold an account or download apps in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Crumb's store age rating is 4+ (suitable for all ages); the optional in-app feedback form, accessible from Settings, is intended for adults. For how we handle data relating to children — in short, we knowingly collect none — see Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.

Where laws such as the App Store Accountability Act (Texas SB 2420) apply, the app store — not Crumb — verifies your age category and obtains a parent or guardian's consent before a minor (a user under 18) downloads or purchases the App, and notifies us if that consent is later withdrawn. Crumb relies in good faith on those store-provided age and consent signals (see Section 8.4). We will not enforce these Terms against a minor who agreed to them without the parental consent that applicable law requires — in that case the parent or guardian's consent governs.
