What's new in this version

A short summary of what changed in this revision. It's for convenience only — the full policy below is what governs:

• Publisher details updated (Section 12). The App is published by Creative Adventures Lab SASU. Same app; the change is administrative.
• This revision collects nothing new. Crumb 2.5.3 moves four starter features (feeding reminders, starter and feeding photos, and logging a feeding's ratio and temperature) from free access into the paid Crumb+ tier. That is a change to what each plan includes, described in our Terms of Use — not to what data exists, where it is stored, or who can see it.
• Precisions and clarifications about age assurance. See Sections 3.9 and 10.
• Photos (Sections 3.1, 3.4 and 3.6). Photos can be attached to starters and feedings, not only bakes, and every one of them is, and remains, a local file on your device that is never transmitted to us. Looking at and saving photos you previously added are free on every plan; Crumb still never adds anything to your photo library on its own — each save is one deliberate tap by you.
• Described the widget file in full (Section 3.5). It carries the starter and bake names shown on the widget, not only the times. It still never leaves your device.
• Sections 3.6, 3.10, 5, 5.1, 6 and 8 are updated. There is no restore/backup feature in the app. CSV export feature updated.
• Multiple clarifications and precisions about age assurance on iOS, what Apple sends to our compliance endpoint, and SKAdNetwork (Sections 2, 3.7, 3.9, 3.10 and 5).

What did not change: what Crumb collects. Your baking data still stays on your device, with no accounts and no analytics; photos are still local file URIs that are never uploaded; and notifications are still scheduled locally with nothing sent to any server.

1. Who We Are

Crumb – Sourdough Tracker ("Crumb", "we", "our") is a mobile application for iOS and Android that helps you track sourdough starters, log bakes, manage recipes, and calculate hydration ratios.

On the Apple App Store, the App is listed as "Sourdough Tracker: Starter Log" (subtitle: "Crumb: Bread & Baking Recipes"). On Google Play, it is listed as "Sourdough Starter Tracker Log". These store listings refer to the same application, called "Crumb" or "the App" throughout this document.

2. The Short Version

• Your baking data stays on your device. Starters, bakes, recipes, and notes are stored locally and never sent to our servers.
• We collect no analytics. We have no visibility into how the app is used.
• We never collect your name, email, or any identity information, and there are no user accounts. The one exception is the optional in-app feedback form: if you choose to use it, what you type is sent to our form provider, Tally (see Section 3.8).
